Tata Motors Nepal has officially launched the all-new Tata Safari in the Nepalese market, offering three variants: Accomplished+ Manual at Rs 1.21 crore, Accomplished+ Automatic at Rs 1.29 crore, and Accomplished+ Dark Edition Automatic at Rs 1.31 crore.
The Safari is powered by the Kyrotec 2.0L BS6 turbocharged diesel engine, a 1,956cc inline 4-cylinder unit producing 170 PS at 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm of torque between 1,750–2,500 rpm. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, with drive modes including Normal, Rough, and Wet to suit varying road conditions.
Built on the OMEGARC architecture, derived from Land Rover’s D8 platform, the SUV measures 4,668 mm in length, 1,922 mm in width, and 1,795 mm in height, with a ground clearance of 205 mm and 19-inch alloy wheels. The fuel tank has a capacity of 50 liters, while safety features include seven airbags, with six standard across all variants, and a five-star G-NCAP rating.
The new Safari also boasts a 31.24 cm Harman touchscreen infotainment system, a 26.03 cm configurable instrument cluster with navigation, and a 9-speaker JBL audio system featuring Advanced Harman AudioworX with 13 bespoke acoustic modes—a first in the world for a production SUV.
Other segment-first features include a gesture-controlled power tailgate, voice assisted dual zone fully automatic air conditioning, ventilated first row seats, voice assisted panoramic sunroof with mood lighting, and an ADAS suite with 11 advanced safety features.
